How do you form a perspective on the current base using different time frames?

The higher time frame provides the bigger picture and forms the foundation of my market view. For example, if QQQ is almost 2% above the daily 9 EMA and not close to any EMA, I'll not be very aggressive on the long side because the daily chart is telling me the market is extended. I'll not chase breakouts there. If I wanted to short an extended market, I'd zoom into a lower time frame, probably the 15-minute chart, and look for rejection at the EMAs. The extended daily chart suggests a higher chance of mean reversion, a pullback, or a reversal, while the lower time frame helps identify the entry.
